Project Description
Born in 2006, Michael grew up in the Holmen area. He always enjoyed sports – especially lacrosse and football – which he played during his time at Onalaska High School. His love for football led him to Concordia University, where he played for a year before finding a new interest and passion in serving his country. In 2025,
Michael enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and quickly distinguished himself as both a guide and squad leader during boot camp. He took great pride in being a Marine.
In March 2026, Michael passed away during a training exercise at Camp Pendleton, California. He was 19 years old. His legacy of commitment and dedication to his country will be remembered through the Wall of Honor and in the hearts of those who knew him.
