Project Description

Scott Skogen

Following Scott’s graduation from Onalaska High School in 1982, he attended the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. He then attended the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and graduated with his Masters of Divinity in 1992. Scott was Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Yorktown, Texas for nine years. Scott moved back to Onalaska in 2000 and has been the Pastor of the North Presbyterian Church ever since. In hopes of making a difference in the lives of children, Scott has been involved in the community, volunteering, and school district activities. Scott has always had a passion for golf. He was MVP, Team Captain, and a member of the first Onalaska State Championship Golf Team in 1982. Scott has coach golf for many years, assisting our teams to seven conference titles and five team state appearances. He has assisted in fund raising events, helped develop scholarships for students, guided the school and community through times of student and faculty loss, and volunteered as Chaplain at area hospitals.
